Profound Therapy

A life change

Profound therapy deepens the understanding of how early relational experiences and difficult life events can shape self-criticism and emotional protective strategies. The treatment aims to transform these deeply rooted cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns. Through a safe and structured therapeutic process, both insight and practical tools are offered to help identify, express, and meet underlying needs in new ways, enabling a life characterized by greater freedom, safety, and self-compassion.

Trauma-informed therapy

In cases of post-traumatic stress, this approach can be effectively combined with Prolonged Exposure (PE), an evidence-based treatment that specifically targets trauma-related symptoms such as avoidance, intrusive memories, hyperarousal, and emotional numbing. Through systematic and gradual exposure, the nervous system is given the opportunity to process threat memories in an adaptive way, reducing fear and restoring a sense of safety in the present. Together, profound therapy and PE create an integrated treatment framework that addresses both trauma symptoms and the underlying emotional and relational patterns that often maintain long-term distress.

Prolonged Exposure

Post traumatic stress disorder

Post traumatic stress is treated with Prolonged Exposure, an advanced form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy developed by Dr. Edna Foa. The goal is to reprocess, integrate, and reevaluate traumatic memories, leading to significantly reduced or even absent symptoms and a higher quality of life. I am licensed by the University of Pennsylvania under Dr. Edna Foa.
