Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Do you struggle with anxiety, sleep problems, stress, pain, or difficulties in relationships?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based treatment that focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work with practical and individualized tools to create change in your everyday life.

A course of treatment typically consists of 5–20 sessions, where we work with clear and measurable goals. For more defined difficulties, the focus is on the present and the future, while more complex issues may also involve understanding the impact of past experiences. Between sessions, you will receive homework assignments to help translate new insights into practice.

Mindfulness

Take part of exercises that support presence, emotional regulation, and rejuvenation.

Counselling

Are you grieving a separation, the loss of a loved one, illness, or another difficult life event?

Or are you facing questions about meaning, identity, or direction during times such as parenthood, major life decisions, or changing life circumstances?

When life changes, counselling can help you process and find new ways of relating to what feels difficult. The work may include elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and Compassion-Focused Therapy, with a focus on fostering acceptance and self-compassion.

When decisions feel unclear, I offer motivational interviewing to help you move forward in a direction that feels most meaningful to you. I meet you with presence and respect, based on your individual needs.

Support for relatives
Do you prioritize others over your own well-being? Sometimes, the desire to support others can be overwhelming.

Trauma Therapy

Have you experienced or witnessed an accident, violence serious illness, a difficult life event, or natural disaster?

Such experiences can deeply affect how you see yourself, others, and the world around you. Over time, it can maintain stress, fear, and self‑criticism and get activated in new relationships. It’s common to avoid places, thoughts, or situations that remind you of what happened.

Prolonged  Exposure is an evidence‑based and internationally recognized first‑line treatment for post‑traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). When combined with Trauma Therapy (Schema Therapy), the method enables long‑term recovery and transformation of behaviors shaped by fear. I offer a safe therapeutic environment that helps you restore trust, joy, and meaning in life.

Couples Therapy

Do you experience recurring conflicts, breakdowns in communication, or difficulties rebuilding trust and intimacy?

Therapy can also support couples navigating life transitions, parenting, or major relational decisions. The work focuses on understanding the underlying dynamics of conflict, reducing negative interaction cycles, and developing more secure and responsive ways of relating to one another. I also incorporate principles of non-violent communication to support clearer expression, emotional safety, and more constructive dialogue. Sessions are structured, collaborative, and tailored to the specific needs of each couple.

My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing primarily from Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT), two of the most well-established and well-researched approaches in contemporary couples therapy, addressing both emotional and behavioural aspects of relational distress. Between sessions, exercises may be offered to support reflection and integration into everyday life.
